Great sailboat festival in Normandy
The sailboat race is set to take off from Canada to France. The journey will take about a month and will reach the north of France in the port city of Le Havre, the largest city in Normandy and the largest container port in the country.
The event will be held as part of celebrations to mark the city's 500th anniversary. Some of the world's tallest sailboats will be anchored in the port for four days of celebrations.
An important cultural event will be noted at the port with works of art in public areas, gardening, prestigious exhibitions, festive gatherings, street parades, concerts and gastronomic events, and more.
The crew of the ships will offer free visits on their cruise ships, and there will be many events on the docks, a parade of ship crews, fireworks and much more can be done.
The ships will leave the port on Sunday, September 3 on a large parade, the first ships will start moving from seven in the morning they will join the port at 8.30 The parade will end at 11.30.
