Celebrate the beginning of the season of tulip flower in the Netherlands and you can choose your own free tulip
Every year, about 1.7 billion tulips are grown throughout the Netherlands, which begins in January and closes in April and are distributed all over the world.
The National Tulip Day is celebrated on January 20 in the creation of a huge garden in Dam Square in Amsterdam with more than 200 thousand flowers in many colours when thousands of people come to traditionally take a free tulip - do not miss the opportunity to choose your flower

Keukenhof is located in South Holland in the small town of Lisse, southwest of Amsterdam. It is accessible by bus from the train stations of Haarlem, Leiden and Schiphol. It is located in an area called the "Dune and Bulb Region"

The National Cherry Blossom Festival is a spring celebration in Washington, D.C., commemorating the March 27, 1912, gift of Japanese cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo City to the city of Washington, D.C. On Saturday April 22, 2017 the Flower Parade of the Bollenstreek will travel from Noordwijk to Haarlem.

In the three days before the parade the floats will be ‘pierced’, that is to say, covered and decorated with bulb flowers.  tulips and daffodils to the floats.

This unique event can be admired at the hall van DeLeeuw Flowerbulbs in Sassenheim.

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show, formally known as the Great Spring Show is a garden show held for five days in May by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea in Chelsea, London. Held at Chelsea since 1912, it is the most famous flower show in the United Kingdom, and perhaps in the world, attracting visitors from all continents.

Highlights of the Chelsea Flower Show include the avant-garde show gardens designed by leading names with Floral Marquee at the centrepiece.
