During the National Museum Week, more than 400 Dutch museums open their collections to the public for free or discounted from Göningen to Limburg.
There are countless activities in museums around the country. A special guided tour or workshop can be visited, lectures can be enjoyed and exhibitions created specifically for the event. The museum week is an excellent opportunity to discover the art treasures of the Netherlands.
There is much to do for children during the National Museum Week. Many museums organize activities especially for children. Recommended museums are the Parisian Natural Museum and the Train Museum in Utrecht. And the Netherlands Open Museum and the Amsterdam Islands organize wonderful activities for children. They certainly have more activities. Museums, castles, architectural exhibits, theaters, windmills, historical buildings and Dutch monuments await you and more will be fun
The museum week changes every year. Each new edition has its own theme. This allows you to discover another aspect of the "real gold" of the Netherlands in all
